Former New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter will have to defend against allegations that he defrauded luxury underwear maker RevolutionWear Inc.
Vice Chancellor Sam Glasscock III’s ruling came Tuesday on Jeter’s motion to dismiss RevolutionWear’s counterclaims for fraud and breaches of contract and fiduciary duty. Jeter, the company alleges, fraudulently induced RevolutionWear to bring him on board in 2011 with a 15 percent ownership stake by hiding obligations under his promotional contract with sports apparel giant Nike Inc.
