Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati has expanded its Delaware presence with the opening of a second office in downtown Wilmington. The Palo Alto, Calif., firm will still maintain its Georgetown, Del., location, but the Wilmington office will become Wilson Sonsini’s primary outpost in the First State.
Wilson Sonsini partner William B. Chandler III, a former Delaware Court of Chancery chancellor, will lead the new office. Chandler said the firm needed a Wilmington footprint because of its corporate governance and intellectual property practices.
