Disagreement over the role of the state attorney general in responding to crime was a main point of the debate last week among four of the five candidates seeking Delaware’s top law enforcement post.
Lt. Gov. Matt Denn, the Democrat, continually pointed to his plan, which included stepping up “traditional law enforcement” such as foot patrols, and specific programs to address the root causes of crime such as substance abuse and juvenile delinquency.
