Delaware has joined the U.S. Department of Justice, eight states and the District of Columbia in suing to block the $37 billion merger of health insurers Aetna Inc. and Humana Inc., saying the union would reduce competition and drive up prices in the First State.
State Attorney General Matt Denn announced Delaware’s involvement in a statement Thursday afternoon, shortly after it was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
