An alleged victim of convicted serial child molester Jerry Sandusky has sued the attorney who represented him, claiming the lawyer got him drunk to induce him into settling his claims for a low amount, but, according to lawyers, the case will likely face several high hurdles before it can get to a jury.

Plaintiff Stephen Milbourne filed his suit Milbourne v. Torrence in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas on June 5. The suit raises breach of contract and legal malpractice claims over allegations that Beaver County attorney Albert Torrence took him to a bar on the outskirts of Pittsburgh to ply him with alcohol in order to get him to sign a settlement agreement offering “less than the average settlement of Sandusky-related molestation cases.”
