William B. Chandler III, a former chancellor and Judicial Nominating Commission chairman, recently acknowledged Gov. Jack Markell for his choices in nominating members to the Delaware judiciary.

“Let me draw attention to the incredible amount of effort, time and deliberation that the governor commits to the judicial appointment process,” Chandler said at the investiture ceremony of the Court of Chancery’s newest vice chancellor, Tamika Montgomery-Reeves. “He understands how important it is to the state, and his meticulous vetting process is a testament to him and his administration.”
