A bipartisan bill introduced in the General Assembly last week would build on a previous measure allowing the increased use of medical marijuana by giving patients with terminal illnesses access to the drug by prescription.

Introduced May 19, HB 400 would expand on last year’s legislation, known as “Rylie’s Law,” by classifying pain, anxiety, or depression related to a terminal illness as a qualifying condition in the Delaware Medical Marijuana Act for patients under the age of 18.
