The state Supreme Court has affirmed in a two-page order the Chancery Court’s rejection of a lawyer’s claim that his business partner breached a contract in a $2.2 billion acquisition of a nursing-home portfolio.

The court issued two orders April 23 in the related cases of Grunstein v. Silva and Dwyer v. Silva, noting that the five justices affirmed Delaware Court of Chancery Vice Chancellor John W. Noble’s Sept. 5, 2014, decision in the cases.
