The American Civil Liberties Union and Community Legal Aid Society Inc. filed a complaint Dec. 3 with the Office for Civil Rights in the U.S. Department of Education arguing that Delaware’s charter school law and policies have a discriminatory impact on students of color and students with disabilities.
The alleged discrimination has “significantly contributed to the resegregation of Delaware’s public schools,” according to the complaint.
