The accolades for Tamika Montgomery-Reeves came quickly pouring in last week after Gov. Jack Markell announced the corporate litigator and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati partner as his pick to succeed Vice Chancellor Donald F. Parsons Jr. on the Delaware Court of Chancery.

Colleagues, observers and lawmakers offered congratulations and drew comparisons to William B. Chandler III, the former Chancery Court chancellor for whom Montgomery-Reeves clerked.
